Ready to get back in shape? StrollerGymTM is the total body workout
designed just for moms! You'll use your stroller and your baby for resistance as you build strength, burn fat,
and increase cardiovascular endurance and flexibility. StrollerGymTM offers moms an
opportunity to get in shape in a non-intimidating environment, while spending time outdoors, making new friends, and
bonding with their babies.
Each 60 minute class includes cardio and strength-training components. We start
off with some power-walking or running to work your heart and warm up your muscles. If your baby is sleeping, lucky
you! If not, baby will be amused watching mom doing "Peek-a-boo-lunges", "tickle-tickle-push-ups"
and "spit-up-sit-ups", among many other clever exercises designed with mom and baby in mind. Class ends on
our mats or blankets with some super tummy-toning exercises, pilates, and stretching.
Current classes take place
at the track at the Cubberley Community Center in Palo Alto, CA. Classes are taught by professionally certified
group fitness instructor and personal trainer, Jennifer Donat. (See instructor Bio).
